Ouray County Courthouse: In 1888, the bricks used were taken from where the pool is now. The Court house is used to settle disputes=fights or arguments. Courthouse has treasurers who collect money for things like nursing clinics.
St John's Episcopal Church: It is very important in Ouray history. The Cornish miners wanted a church like theirs back home. There is a beautiful window called the Lamb of God. My Mom and Gramma used to go there before I was born!
Ranching: There are many ranches in OUray. Ranchers help raise cows. Cows provide milk and meat to Ouray.
